Perfectly Happy

The industry of finance seems contrived to most individuals—they do not understand it’s various terms, constructs, and figures. Anyone who has ever walked into a bank or tried to understand the definition of “mortgage” is perfectly happy to let those who are already in the industry—deal with the industry. However, there are others, like Trevor Stebbins, who are able to easily understand the concepts. Stebbins spent many years in the financial industry for precisely this reason. The ability to understand the numbers and terms in finance came easily to him.

This proficiency with numbers led Trevor Stebbins to work in many different facets of the finance industry. During his time in the industry he worked as a mortgage lender, stock broker, and asset manager. From all of these positions he was able to procure a lot of information about the workings of the finance industry in general, and of the mortgage industry particularly.

These many lessons can also be applied elsewhere, so Trevor applies them to his day-to-day business. This unique thought-process enables him to see things from a different perspective. Everyone knows that a unique perspective is a good thing in virtually all cases, it allows us to see problems that others might not have percieved.
